This week probably put Trips on borrow time. Dirtsheets or No Dirtsheets, there is legit heat between Triple K/Rock, both with egos, along with Rock just hating Trips especially by being best friends with Shawn Michaels; a man who Rock despises.

The whole WrestleMania 41 stuff, there is some smoke going on. Now Trips firing and bringing back Ron? Rock in the shadows probably whispering in the boardroom to be like, "Hunter just fired Truth, and then brought him back. That is not a man who shows Leadership and Resolve, that is a man who cannot lead the Product..."

I expect Hunter to resign or be pushed out by 2027... along with the whole, "You know I love the WWE, it's family to me... it provided me everything. However I think it's vital to spent time with family as we only got so much time..." yada yada in which internally Triple K is pissed as his dreams of running the show were spoiled by ironically even more corporate fukkery.

The fact that he has no ties to the current regime should have always put him on borrowed time as they don’t have the same ties or loyalty to him that Vince did.

Correct... and playing it from a corporate mind solely... Triple K should have just fired Ron, and then move on.

Instead Trips did the worse thing he could do, he brings back Ron as a reaction; that is a big no-no, you eat the pr hit, and you move on... you don't give in to pressure to bring him back.

Now that he did... The Rock has proof that Triple K is not a leader, one who can make the hard decisions... he is a man who at the end of the day will cave into pressure.

That's debatable as you could make that argument for others before Truth and after him that will expire as well. Depending on you ask, that might not be right and they're not going to be the public outcry that Truth did.

It can also cause tension in the locker room if those other talent don't seem the same public support or outcry that Truth did or even support from their own fellow wrestlers.

They should have just stuck to it as now the run the risk of fan outcry everytime a talent gets released that they feel don't deserve it.
Stick to it and let him walk to AEW red hot off a feud with John Cena…?

Yes because as @MushroomX pointed out, this makes HHH look worse especially if Khan overstepped him in bringing him back.

The worst thing that could have happened to HHH was his boss stepping in to fix his fukk up eventhough it was reported that Khan initially also wanted Truth gone in the first place.

So if this is a shorter term deal, then what happens after as fans still aren't going to be happy about the move. Are fans going to do this everytime a wrestler they like gets released and try and force the company to pivot like they're doing now with Truth? How long should they be expected to keep him on the roster?

They should have just stuck to it and kept it moving even if he went elsewhere.

Letting Truth walk to AEW from not only a talent standpoint but also a backstage moral standpoint would be absolutely idiotic.

He wasn’t as hot when they made the move in the first place…

It’s the exact same shyt we saw 20 years ago with Matt Hardy
Which is fine, but what happens if he’s still leaving after this run like what’s being reported? He’s still leaving the company and going to end up going elsewhere anyways.
