They see these ugly numbers that the media purposely puts out to present black people in a negative light, and they jump to illogical conclusions without anylizing what the numbers actually mean.

Plenty of kids who are born "out of wedlock" end up being raised in a two family home. Plenty of kids who were born to married parents end up being raised in a one parent home. That 70% number tells us absolutely nothing about the kids futures or the true circumstances of their conception and upbringing.

Plenty of people push that 70% number but what they don't know is that for 40 years now young unwed black mothers have been having LESS and less children every year. The only reason that percentage seems so high is because married black women are having even less children, way less than other races, almost none comparatively, so it makes the ratio look way worse than it actualy is. On the other hand the rate a births to young unwed white women have been increasing in the same time frame and their divorce rates have gone through the roof. But it's always black folks who get blamed for a "poor family structure"

I really wish nikkas would open their eyes to what's really going on in this country. The media presents this shyt in a way that places all the negatives of American society on black folks, just to divert attention from the fact that white folks are just as fukked up if not more.

First off the figure is wrong because plenty of families that are above the poverty line still get assistance(pell grants, tax breaks, etc) in fact those types of programs get more money than the programs we associate with single mothers (food stamps, housing assistance, etc) Your $60,000 number takes all of that money and places it on the shoulders of those in poverty. That's mistake number 1
