You gotta understand that Batman is the hammer in the situation. The hammering was done. Batman is whatever Gotham needs him to be. They needed him to save the day and he did. And when Harvey fell, they needed a scapegoat and that's what Batman became.

As much as I loved this movie, I never could have imagined that 15 years later, we are still waiting for a comic based movie on this same level or better. SMH.
