I wouldn't call this s wake up call, as my parents had schooled me on racism, but my 1st encounter with it firsthand came when I was 10. I was in the school computer lab with a (white) friend and another white kid I didn't know. I don't know what prompted it, but seemingly out of the blue, the boy called me a "n*igger nugget". I legit hit the

I didn't know how to respond. I called him stupid. My friend told me to call him white trash, so I did. He went on about how proud he was to be white, his daddy told him about n*ggers, etc. I kept calling him stupid white trash, left the room, and went on with my day. I didn't tell my parents because I knew my dad would freak out. I couldn't tell you what that kid looked like, but it sticks with me because it was my 1st real encounter, and let me know that shyt was taught to young children.

OK so I had mine at what must have been about 10. I used to go to this club called "boys brigade", kinda like the scouts. Anyway, just used to meet up every Friday and play games, go on trips etc.

Anyway needless to say this place was all white. Literally everyone was white. So we're on a trip somewhere and we're camping so we're in tents.
