Teams win championships not individual players. Defenses are far more important than offenses. Brady has always had the better defense by lightyears. This notion of comparing which player is better based on rings is so retardedly dumb. This isn't Kobe vs MJ/NBA shyt. You actually need complete teams to win rings.

2007? You mean when New England gave the biggest choke job in maybe sports history in super bowl 42 just a year after having the biggest blown lead in afc title game history? Both against the manning brothers? Reality is Brady hasn't been too good in the playoffs for about 10 years now. I distinctly remember a lot of the stinkers he's had since 2005, but typing them on my phone is a pain in the ass.

Yes 2007, when he showed that with weapons he could put up gaudy numbers as well. He had already shown he could win big games.

So Peyton didn't wet the bed all those years the defense was actually good. Including the championship year?

The length the people go to constantly put Manning head and shoulders above Brady is:scust:

People dont even engage in constructive discussion when discussing this, Brady had better teams... specifically better defenses... football more than any other sport is a team game...

if you look at the stats... Manning is the best statistical QB of all time... to me it doesnt mean jack to get to the superbowl and lose... either u win it... or u dont...

right now i give the edge to manning... cause brady is a fukk boy

brady still has him beat tho....manning also played with a HOF(caliber) back and HOF(caliber) WR most his time in indy.....

I give manning his props, hes a great regular season quarterback, who can put up great numbers when playing against some scrub teams, but when it gets to the playoffs, he cant do it against the elite. it is what it is :manny:

You mean rallying his team from an 18 point deficit in the afc title game against New England? you mean 2007 where Indianapolis allowed billy volek to drive San diego the length of the field to take the lead at the end and then having his receivers drop the ball on 3rd and 4th down to end the game? How about 2008 when they started overtime in San diego on d and proceeded to commit 3 personal fouls and allow a 20+ yard touchdown run to lose the game before Peyton ever touched the ball? How about super bowl 44 where they allowed Drew Brees to complete 75% of his throws while generating 1 sack and 0 takeaways but allowing a pair of red zone touchdowns and a two point conversion? Do you mean 2010 when Peyton got Indy the lead against the jets with 50 seconds left and their defense allowed mark Sanchez to drive them down to win the game at the buzzer? Do you mean 2012 against the Ravens where his receiver juggled a pass over his head into Corey graham's hands for a pick six, champ bailey gave up a pair of 50+ yard td passes to Torrey smith :scust: and rahim Moore gave up that Hail Mary to Jacoby jones :scusthov:? I mean those are the years Peyton has had a good defense. Do tell me where that defense was when it mattered most.

Not saying Brady isn't a great QB but he's a system QB... Period. Bledsoe was doing the same thing until he got hurt... He was traded elsewhere and was sucky. Matt Cassell got some burn and put up Brady numbers that year.

Peyton... While having the arm strength of a T-rex is the better pure QB. Say what you will be he went to the Broncos and still put up numbers & lead them to the SB and playoffs.

Just saying... :yeshrug:
