They already paid George’s family 27 million. Although racists don’t use logic, it would be foolish to let Chauvin walk just to uphold white supremacy. That’s more money spent on rebuilding the city because the citizens of Minny are ready and rightfully so.

6 white women and 2 white males on the jury. You never know with these cacs

Honestly I think it's pretty likely almost guarantee that Chauvin doesn't get convicted or if anything gets a lesser charge or even a mistrial
They are doing way too much work on impugning George Floyd's character in death. Oh he's a drug addict, oh he was passing a counterfeit bill, oh the dude in the car with him was their drug dealer.

Most black people already see the typical tropes at play in this trial and its bringing me right back to the trayvon martin case

I hope it's different but a majority white jury doesn't paint a good picture no matter how damning the video is

:stopitslime: The whole point of my post is that Chauvin was ready to take a plea deal last Summer, but Bill Barr stopped it. Now because of that decision George Floyd's personal life in being put on blast for everyone to see in this nationally televised trial.
I think you're wrong. How did Bill Barr do anything, this case isn't a federal case but a state case. He doesn't have jurisdiction in this case.:comeon:

we went over this in the first page of this thread:unimpressed:

fukk Bill Barr, but he stopped it because he knew that it would rightly be perceived as too lenient. is 10 years satisfactory to you?

I guess it depends on what you think is the appropriate charge. After the full video came out later last summer & plus the fact that chokehold was a legal maneuver in the Minneapolis PD manual, I felt he should be charged with manslaughter, negligent homicide, or/and a lower-level murder charge.
