Honestly I think it's pretty likely almost guarantee that Chauvin doesn't get convicted or if anything gets a lesser charge or even a mistrial
They are doing way too much work on impugning George Floyd's character in death. Oh he's a drug addict, oh he was passing a counterfeit bill, oh the dude in the car with him was their drug dealer.

Most black people already see the typical tropes at play in this trial and its bringing me right back to the trayvon martin case

I hope it's different but a majority white jury doesn't paint a good picture no matter how damning the video is

Exactly there is 8 white jurors there is no way at least 2 of them are not racist. This is why these cops always get off.

I think he will be convicted of 3rd degree murder and the manslaughter charge but they will clear him on the 2nd degree murder

The jury is more diverse than the city of Minneapolis itself. It was rough even getting to the diversity it has now I’m sure.

why was she even up there, the people covering the trial was like wtf,, its like they are painting that man as super strong

double edged sword. They are trying to prove murder. If he was relatively healthy before and didn’t have any shortness of breath or heart problems it’s more likely in the minds of the jury he died at the hands of that kkkop. I feel That’s why the prosecution was using that line of questioning. She could have toned down the weightlifting part and focused on his cardiovascular health though.
