The defense is really going hard with the drug asphyxiation argument (as expected).
But its so weak since he was perfectly mobile prior to being killed.

and they're gonna go harder.

what it really is, is giving any jurors who want to acquit or argue for the lesser charges a reason to do so, and an argument to take back to the jury room

I know I said earlier that everyone has the right to an attorney and someone had to be the one to defend him, but that cac lawyer is gonna have to answer for disturbing this dead breh's memory like this, and for what he's gonna do in closing, and essentially blame the breh Donald and say the hostile crowd justified the continued force:francis:

That last sequence with the last witness from the MPD was hilarious.

The prosecution and defence had already asked the bulk of their questions to the witness and then the defence guy comes up one more time and says "if bystanders are saying they'll slap you, call you p*ssy etc., could that elicit a certain type of reaction in the moment from an officer". Witness says yes. Defence guy says "no more questions, your honour" and walks off smugly.

Then the prosecution guy comes up and says, "but if bystanders are trying to alert an officer to wrongful/unlawful practices, should the officer not potentially reconsider his techniques and consider in that moment if he's doing something right or wrong?". Witness says yes. Prosecution guy says "no more questions".

Non-verbatim btw but that was the gist of their questions...

:russ:

"slap the fukk out of you" gets me every time :mjlol:

salute to the breh Donald:salute:

Defense keeps on bringing up a hostile environment.
Prosecutors need to bring up the Asian man putting his hands in people. The two cops that were on George Floyd’s legs should have been directing traffic, if the cops thought that traffic was a threat!!!!!

There’s no way they won’t convict him. Not because it’s the morally right thing to do, there’s just too much at stake to allow a riot of that potential magnitude.

Of course I want the book thrown at him but I wouldn’t be mad if he’s found not guilty because if this doesn’t wake black people up, nothing else will. The whole system needs to burn, and if a not guilty verdict is the catalyst needed, George Floyd’s murder won’t be in vain.

Nah, you wishing for something you have no idea about. Plus, you will not be out in them streets “burning the whole system down.” You would be locked up in the house scared.
