22.5 years is eh...

I thought he would get a much lighter sentence.

Now I want to know if whatever prison he is sent to going to force him to PC up or will they make him serve his sentence on the mainline?

Judge probably wanted to give him probation, but didn't want a massive uprising, so he gave what he felt was appropriate to keep the peace.

I just hope he serves all of the sentence and not get out on parole early.

minimum 150 months max 270 not sure what you mean?

That 22.5 is the max, and it’s harsher than normal.

If you want to move the goal post to the minimum he will need to serve, you need to compare the minimum sentences given to others guilty of these crimes in order to deem it “light”.

This wasn’t “light” by any objective metric.

So when Derek gets out of jail at age 55 in 2036, while we're getting ready to play GTA5 on PS6. Are ya'll gonna feel like this was a fair sentence?

Assuming he survives in there :manny:

A lot of people are excited to put the beats on him and I foresee him committing that while he's in there. His life as a police officer is gone.
