they have valid reasons with the cuts, low pay, and 12 hour shifts, but these shock/scare tactics to a bunch of white people from the suburbs is not the way to do it

sports and the casinos are almost the only reasons white people go downtown, and cops tryin to hurt that..which hurts the D

any why is that happening, one of the main reasons the City is hurting so bad is when fukkhead Archer gave up residency to the police/fire unions. It took a HUGE chunk of the tax base out of the city. A city in which the CITY ITS SELF is the largest employer in the city limits...

This was of their own creation among other factors

it was an amazing place...Detroit is a city of pockets...some places look like amazing spots to raise a family in and LITERALLY around the corner looks like a bomb hit it.

Also we never had a big downtown...we always had cars here so there was never a need to centralize entertainment and biz like that unfortunatly

I didnt know Archer did that..but while that is a huge tax base, i dont think people should be forced to live in the city they work in

they should give out some kind of incentive or reward to those who reside in the city though
