What we are seeing at play is basically the pimp/hoe dynamic playing out over the course of their relationship.

1. The pimp seduces the women with his flashy clothes and cars and let's them live a life of extravegence to reel them in. They sweet talk them and promise them the world.

3. Once they know the woman is willing to do that they just play with their emotions. Start tearing them down mentally and have them scared of disobeying you as you push them further and further into depravity. You also introduce them to the drugs to make them dependent on you to deal with that urge too. The more and more fukked up shyt you have them do the more they want to escape it through the liquor and drugs and the cycle begins.
