WASHINGTON (TNND) — President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that Sean "Diddy" Combs did reach out and ask for a pardon following his conviction for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

"I have a lot of people have asked me for pardons," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. "I call him 'Puff Daddy,' he's asked me for a pardon."

Just so were clear. Puffy case went from:

Life In Prison Assets Sized For RICO
50 Years for Sex Trafficking
20 Years for Transpiration
33 Years Guilty Plea Deal (Which he rejected)
11 Years Prosecution Sentence Request
7 Years Probation Report Sentence Request
4 Years Judgment Sentence on two convictions (2 years per conviction) 5 Years Probation
Must Serve 85% of 50 Months which is roughly 42 Months
Minus Time Served brings it down to 29 Months
With Program credits another 12 months can be subtracted bringing it 17 Months
He will appeal the case which could throw out both convictions
Trump could still potentially pardon him as well

Serving a second behind bars in a loss no matter what espically for someone as rich as Puff but for what he was facing. This is a huge win. The United States Government wanted him under the jail for Life. They only got him for 50 Months which he will not serve that entire sentence. The Judge was clearly bias and used stuff in the sentencing that he wasn't guilty of. Puff was a 1st time offender which are the guidelines he should have been sentence but they always pull a trick bag on Black Men. This is why I think he will have a strong appeal. But it goes to show you, it doesn't matter how much money you have.

He's still a Black Man and they break the rules every time to give us more time than we are suppose to get. So though he didn't walk out of there that day. I think the fact he beat the other 3 big charges. He never took the stand or told on anyone (Many people said Puff was going to throw people under the bus to save himself and that didn't happen). This could have ended very badly for him but this outcome actually is much better than what he was facing. It was a Domestic Violence case that was settled Civilly and they tried to turn that into a Life in Prison RICO case. SMH. So when does he get out? Could be soon or in a year or so but he's not serving Life In Prison or 50 Months.

Might even get released six months early to a half-way house.

Just cause the judge says it doesn't mean its true. All of his words are on the record and will be used in the appeal.

The jury found him innocent of rico and sex trafficking by force fraud or coercion. The judge repeatedly referenced force and coercion in his sentencing. Sex trafficking requires force, fraud or coercion in transporting. Mann act does not require those things. It just covers the act of simply transporting people. So if the jury believed there was any of those 3 elements (Force, fraud or coercion) they would have found him guilty of sex trafficking. The judge including force, fraud or coercion in his ruling effectively nullifies the jury verdict.

He also said they were victims. The jury did not find them to be victims. The jury did not find any trafficking through force fraud or coercion. They only found puff guilty of literally transporting consenting adults to engage in prostitution. In his sentencing the judge barely mentioned the mann act at all. All he did was reference the violence and things that the "victims" said (But didn't prove) happened to them at trial in relation to the 2 charges he was acquitted on.

Bruh..just send Diddy some commissary money and move on. My gawd. No judge is gonna be like you know what Nigerianwonder is right, let's let Puff walk

Bro.. Puff got millions on top of millions currently. You gotta give him time. Me or you or any avg person? Just having it on our record would be career ending and no need for jail necessarily. It has to be harsher in that case..

Bro, Puff been in mad court cases for violence and f*ckery over the past 25 years.

There's no bias. The n*gga is just an idiot. He got way less time than dudes I've known, who did the same sh*t. So blaming the judge for sentencing him is wild. The jury convicted him on what they understood to be illegal. And if anyone decides to look up what he was convicted of, the judge sentenced him lighter than what most people usually get for that. The law says that if you have a history of being charged with certain things and have a propensity for illegal activity, you gotta sit. That's it.

The n*gga could be doing a million years. He got sent up for a few years, and n*ggas are still crying. Come on. He got off easy. So the lesson, for all the weirdo n*ggas that look up to Puff, don’t do dumb sh*t because you're not getting the light sentence he got. You're gonna do triple.

But has he ever been convicted? What about the people you know?
