Youtuber: Hate to cut you off Suge, but news just broke that Puffy was sentenced to 4 years in jail. You said last time he would get 3, which if they include time already served, is exactly what you predicted. Your initial thoughts?
Suge Knight: I think that little arrogant motherfukker sealed his fate by booking an appearance a week after his sentencing. Karma has a way of catching up to people, and Puffy, like everything else, thought he could get away with it.
Youtuber: You mentioned Trump potentially pardoning him a while back. If he doesn't get that, how do you see the rest of his sentence playing out?
Suge Knight: I'm honestly shocked Puffy made it through to this point. Between the drug addictions and being removed from the lifestyle bubble he created for himself, I had a bet with the homies that Puffy was going to Epstein himself before Christmas 2024. But, Puffy did prove something to me with the closing statements he made. Take away the drugs, take away the women, take away the men he paid to have sex with. He, like Snoop, Dre, Eminem, 50, is a "yes sir" kind of guy. Especially Snoop, who has become a commercial cartoon gangster doing anything asked because he knows damn well that if he slips, it's gonna be taken away. When Puffy was his own "boss", someone else was pulling the strings, and you saw that with his alcohol brand that got yanked away from him because he was nothing more than a well paid puppet. Even when he was coming up and freed himself from being taken advantage of sexually and mentally by Clive Davis and Andre Harrell, Puffy couldn't turn that "I gotta please my bosses" mindset and did the same shyt to Usher that was done to him. Going back to a pardon, Puffy is a rat fleeing a ship and he'll do whatever the person in charge of his freedom wants him to do.
Youtuber: Do you think the damage he caused to his family gets repaired? And what do you think led Puffy down this path?
Suge Knight: He has a lot of explaining to do with his family and the biggest thing is he has to get right by them and by God. Him not being truthful about his sexuality, his inability to please women, enjoying the company of numerous naked men and their bodily fluids, led him down that path. Look at Dre and his ex-wife. America saw Dre and Nicole as a happily married couple, but the truth is they had an agreement that Dre could have sex with with as many men as he wanted, but if he cheated on her with another woman, they'd get divorced. Back in the mid to late 90's, where being openly gay or bisexual was frowned upon and people had to hide their lives, the gay community welcomed them with open arms. They treated those motherfukkers in the closet like they were in the CIA or in witness protection. The only reason that even I know this is actually through one of my sons. With homosexuality not having that stigma anymore, the mother of my son's friend said she met Dre in 1998 at a gay club in West Hollywood where he was calling himself "Andrea Wright". Turns out that he was a regular there but tried to keep any sexual encounters he had inside the club due to what happened with Eddie Murphy being outed. But at the end of the day, Dre and his wife were honest with each other about what they wanted sexually and never put the children they had together in a situation where they could find out. Puffy on the other hand, seems to have gone down a rabbit hole of lie after lie after lie, and now is being held accountable for it. I don't know what type of relationship he has with his kids, but he should have enough money to put his head down, serve his sentence, and retire from the spotlight after he's released.
