Bruce Willis was a balding tv show star, its built on the hero being a every man. The guys you are listing don't look like your average joe, every man.

The article I read said Willis was "interested" in playing the villain Hans Gruber... I dont know how true that is.. It said he wouldn't be the German terrorist like Alan rickman portrayed. Something about a disgruntled vet... But I'm like didnt they already have a disgruntled vet in die harder

These dudes look just like average guys and could easily play John...man fukk it reboot it ...acting like it's some sacred cow....keep the budget low and KIM.....shyt ask the dude from The Raid or John Wick to direct.

Instead of Germans get someone like Rick Yune as the bad guy ( who can fight)

I've seen it maybe 10,000 times and will STILL stop and watch it if its playing on cable.


If it is true, its a reboot not a remake. It didnt take us long accepting Ben affleck as Bruce Wayne after years of Christian bale.. I think the same can happen in this case for gosling being yippy kiyay and shyt

The can make a Die Hard inspired movie and it would work, Just leave the name Die Hard out of it. It was and always will be Bruce Willis action vehicle and the original trilogy is a product of its time. If they want to do the everyman good guy claustrophobic cat and mouse action flick just do it without the branding of DIE HARD
