Following John Cena’s match with Brock Lesnar this weekend at Night of Champions, it’s possible the 15-time world champion could be entering a program with Rusev. Rusev, alongside his Russian counterpart Lana, were placed in the final segment of last night’s go-home episode of Monday Night Raw, brawling with the pro-America, former Olympian Mark Henry. The belief is that the segment was less about Henry and Rusev’s match this weekend, and more about setting the foreign heel up as the next major challenge for John Cena.

The worst thing about all of this? Cena just 'no selling' Lana and doing his typical, disheartened lame bullsh1t. Awful.

And Cena always breaks undefeated streaks...Hassan, Umaga,and now this kid. Lana is the real star though so his win/loss stuff don't matter. It's the progress after he loses but everyone knows Cena damn sure shouldn't even be wrestling this guy in the first place. It's just more pandering and homo Cena promos to stink Raw up with.

Is anybody surprised by this? Rusev has always been on a collision course with Cena. He's one of those guys where you just get the feeling the only reason he's being pushed at all is to have it culminate in a feud with Cena. Those three PPV jobs in a row will be the highlight of his career.

Somewhere down the line, Rusev gets another streak and a U.S. title reign. We forget that he's been beaten b/c we won't consider a first loss to Reigns a burial. You get Cena and Reigns "beef". All is well in the IWC...

Most problems w/ the WWE stem from their braindead booking decisions, and Cena is the poster child for all that is and has been wrong for years.

Man i was always disappointed how the Umaga feud played out. The 1st guy to make Cena look completely vulnerable after winning the title.

But this makes no sense, Rusev vs Sheamus is the way to go. That'd be a hard hitting match plus Sheamus has the US title..it writes itself
