Maybe some people don't want to assimilate into American culture.

There's no comparison between the U.S. and a third world country. People migrate here to make a better living for their children and families. It's not their fault that the government is corrupted and takes up all the resources from the people. You got little kids happy to get just a dollar since it's worth so much over there. That's why people try to leave from those places. But it's also where they come from and the basis of their culture. You can't fault someone for embracing their culture. It's a part of your identity. Nobody decided where they were born. Ironic that your name is luck cuz that's what got you here. Not everyone had the same opportunities or was born in this country. Who knows how much different anyone's lives would be if they were born in another place.
