Ubisoft already incorporated their storefront into their in-game menu’s. Thats why i don’t really buy that they were testing this out and had that tweet ready to go out as soon as complaints started

Yeah ea Skate 1 was the first game I saw doing this. They had miracle whip & T Mobile billboards in game and I think in the later games they would even update/change over time

Right? Need for Speed Underground 2 had ads all over for Cingular Wireless and Burger King. Ads in games aren't new.

Now that pause menu flub would be irritating because it would make the pause/map button the advertize button. That would be annoying as hell. But hey, they fixed it.

Y’all 100% correct but I was referring to loading up Madden/2k and getting bombarded by mtx ads. Also if you’re playing an older version you’ll be reminded that the new one is out before you even get to the main menu.

Microsoft isn’t far off from it either, they have pop ups when you turn on your console that you have to exit out of. I got one for MW3

Plus forza horizon does this with DLC , every time you about to start a race...you have to watch like a 30 second ad for the dlc
