Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Joe Budden and his stans are weirdos.

Joe Budden did all this ??? :dahell:
No he thought it up for the song.. Vividly describing child rape and shyt.. I ain't never heard this much detail about some revenge shyt. Like what was going on in Joe's mind to come up with this shyt. It's just different hearing as a :flabbynsick:

Wait where did you get these numbers from and how much did they say they were making
Someone in the thread mentioned that, maybe I misread..if so, my apologies. When listening to the pod link, sounds like they were making a good amount, but not what they wanted to make based on what they think or know Joe gets.

I never really went in on the fact of the white boys were a drag on the culture of the show. It's wild how the white boy feels entitled to ownership despite Joe always talking about how whites steal and monetize our shyt in his presence. The whole damn time this is what the white Devil was planning to do on his dog pad right next to Joe's throne. Lol I knew that the white boy was not content under a nikka.

This helped so many but hurt a lot as well. Got people out here scared to take million dollars deals that they’ll never see again because of “ownership” lol. Joe still won but his guys definitely wanted to get that money.
here's the rub.

alright so right now with podcasts media there's copywrite, licensing for the audio, the issue is that there may be publishing in the future in the way there's publishing for music audio (lyrics).

In the owners view, if at some point they can independently collect from every avenue they can collect money, it can be worth much more than 30 million and own it for the rest of your life and pass it down to your children.

taking a deal that removes your ownership potentially fukks you over long term...

Music artists get publishing because their songs keep getting played over and over. Who is going to keep listening to old episodes of podcasts that are about weekly events?

This. I’m going back to listen to old 85 south podcasts that I missed. The podcasts with guests are better off because you can go back and catch ones that you missed especially if you like the person on there. There’s not a single Budden pod that I want to go back to listen to.

Pissed away 20-30 million dollars to “own” IP of episodes no one gives a fukk about once they air :mjlol: If Joe was really a media mogul like he claim he is, he would’ve took that bread and flipped it to 50-100 million dollars by launching other ventures. His deal wouldn’t have been forever, he was probably signing a 3-5 year deal. Now he hustling episodes on Patereon behind a paywall and losing listeners daily.

I don't know how podcasting got some popular, always felt hearing a man speak for 2 hours is lame if you not making money off it. I can understand a stock and career podcast or even getting life together and being healthier but hearing dudes speak about random stuff like music and people when everything is about money at the end is just a little off to me.
