You don't insert a non-compete clause unless you think an employee might be a threat to your business later on.

that being said I don't really listen to this podcast, just the news about it so I wouldn't know if your assessment is accurate or not.

Joe is truly a sick nikka so I’m not surprised the podcast came crashing and burning down, like everything Joe does.

But this nikka really is a psychopathic narcissist. Treats his “friends” like absolute shyt but seems like Rory and Mal were naive in their thinking about the business and the JPB brand and overplayed their hand and their role in the business. I do imagine that Joe led them to believe at some point that they were “owners” or would own piece of the brand at some point... otherwise these dudes had hours and hours of discussion on ownership/contracts/paperwork while they didn’t own shyt and their paperwork was fukked up? The whole show has been a mess so again, not surprised it’s crashing down. None of those dudes were intelligent enough to keep a podcast going anyway and the reason why it became a gossip show. They’re not knowledgeable dudes.

Joe is the classic case of that person that thinks that anything valuable in any collaboration or enterprise he is involved in is solely his contribution

And to be honest...if any future people go on that show and dont demand proper compensation they are dummies too

demand your own paperwork. ak been telling anyone who would listen he wasn't a part of the revolt run because they tried to run everything through joe. that said, i'm pretty sure he'd do another show with joe as long as the terms were to his liking.

rory and mal were a part of joe's deal.

not saying that makes joe right. he's a narcissist, and an a$$hole for treating them like equity partners, then treating them like employees when it suited him.

but they agreed to the terms. it's always gonna be harder to change terms after you've already agreed to them.
