Yes to buy time until the house and senate can reconvene. The SCOTUS isn't going automatically strike it down. How do you not understand their strategy here? Plus they're literally not blaming him. God damn you're being obtuse about this.

They're literally just asking him to help buy them time. THAT'S IT, what are you not understanding about this?

They've literally had time since the moment the Supreme Court laid down their decision :dwillhuh:

You're making excuses for them and Congress when we've literally seen how they wait until the last minute and try to get shyt accomplished. They've already got the debt ceiling issue to worry about when they reconvene and now you want to add another issue to the plate that they more than likely won't be able to agree upon..........

If Biden could have extended the moratorium, then he would have already done so by now and we wouldn't be having this discussion. That's the point you keep overlooking.

I blame Biden and Congress

If Biden wanted it to happen, he could have made some calls OR made an order anyway, just to say he tried:yeshrug:

They do grandstanding on everything else

These ppl do not give a fukk and are playing kick the ballp

Biden is at the mercy of the Supreme Court or else he would have extended to the moratorium already. People are literally sitting here acting as if Biden didn't want to extend it when that's totally not the case.

If Biden could have extended the moratorium, then he would have already done so by now.......

"Making excuses for them" - No the fukk I am not, but I'm not going to lay blame at the feet of 10 house members who more than likely have said something about this. This was allowed to expire on purpose by evil people, but once again blaming progressive's is dumb. The house speaker is telling you "Yes I never held a vote because I wanted this shyt to expire" by saying "She didn't know about it" but we gonna blame progressives :gucci:

Let me ask you this question.........

Do you think that Biden actually wanted the moratorium to expire if he didn't have the power to stop it?

Hardly any of the money has actually been dispersed according to what I've heard. The application process is too complex and states don't have the resources or manpower to process them all. The government literally threw out the money and told states to figure it out on their own and now citizens are suffering for it.

The problems and issues involving Congress isn't the Supreme Courts problem :yeshrug:

That's the aspect that you keep overlooking.
But no one is talking about the SCOTUS or Biden except you in our conversation here. The focus is solely on why the house and senate speaker never even held a vote on this full stop.

That's where the blame belongs

The government has fukked up the entire pandemic. Even the PPP process where real businesses got turned down for grants and loans, while scammers and fake businesses used fake paperwork to get it with no problem.
