The way the government has been handling the pandemic has been one big fukk up, and it is only going to get worse :francis:.

Why do they think things are getting back to normal? Ain't shyt normal and it will never return back to normal. Instead of adjusting to a different way of life, they trying to settle back into the old ways :gucci:

I Don’t Have The Answers, I’m Only Speaking On The Part Where Folks Felt Fooled Into Believing They Were Living For Free
How many people were on that tho. Maybe some delusional white leftists but black people aren’t that dumb. I hope people who got their child tax money last month used it to move or pay off what they owe. This isn’t fairytale land…

I agree that there won’t be mass evictions due to court back up and a lack of manpower. But people are gonna be kicked out; let’s be clear. This is a bad thing and will do major harm to the economy in coming months. And with UE expiring in a month a lot of people will have a rude awakening.

For the people and particularly @Godless Liberal CEO who are wondering why Biden couldn't extend the eviction moratorium and defy the Supreme Court's ruling. Here's your answer.

The White House calls on states to prevent a crisis after the federal eviction moratorium expired.

On Thursday, Biden administration officials punted the issue to congressional Democrats, claiming that a recent Supreme Court ruling made it nearly impossible to order an extension without jeopardizing the right of the executive branch to implement similar emergency policies during future public health emergencies.

With Congress being as inept as they have been over the years, it wouldn't be a good idea to defy the Supreme Court and get on their bad side if you will be in need of their assistance again.

We've already had this conversation and we're not going to have it again. You can keep being obtuse about why they asked him to extend if you want though

You can also keep being obtuse as to why he said that he can't defy the Supreme Court's order and do it. If he could have, then the eviction moratorium would be extended by now and they wouldn't be asking states and local governments to do it.

Direct your frustrations at the government and not me :yeshrug:

Everyone is pointing the finger and blaming each other instead of figuring out a way to extend the moratorium. If Congress feels that bad about it, then bring their ass back to work early from vacation and make it happen.
