I mean sure.

But Jack Swagger come on man. Why debut him like that? Who cares about him.

Im not even trying to be negative, their show was good. But to end it like that, with a former wwe star, and a shyt one at that, shows their desperation to just have a surprise to make news.

Luger was a big star. Whether yall want to admit or not.

Lugar was a big star in 1988-1990 he was a huge flop in the wwf after a monster push and was in a going no where tag team with the British Bulldog at the time

Swagger had about the same push Lugar got in the E with about the same results but actually had a few runs with the title

Another guy who never should have been world champion. Swagger wishes he was as over as Luger at any point in his career. Guy has zero charisma or personality. Like really AEW..Jack Swagger? Wtf Lol

conquering north korea for nice tight asian p*ssy
Ppl were into it so I can’t really say anything

Swagger has been boring as shyt but he’s also always been a decent to good wrestler. Long as he’s not getting some unwarranted huge singles push I don’t mind it I guess.

The fact you was so ready to make this thread though :mjlol:

I agree that closing your debut show on TNT with Jack Swagger after everything else that happened on Dynamite (opening match, Riho, Mox killing Omega, etc.) was underwhelming and a weird choice.

I also agree that running this angle earlier might've felt less "meh". But then again, the live audience seemed to love it :yeshrug:

Debuting him at the end gives him the best shot at success. Debut him as a big deal and if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. :yeshrug:

If you debut him as mid then nobody's gonna give a fukk about him from jump.

Maybe it was because I was a kid, but I was hyped for Luger jumping back to WCW. I still had memories of him beating the crap out of Sting. Jack Swagger will always be a mid carder to me. No memorable feuds or matches. Definitely cant compare him to Luger. He also shouldn't be a main event surprise on episode 1. He's definitely an episode 7 kind of guy.
