then add the fact that it was the 1st nitro, and he showed up during a sting match on top of that, picking back up where they left off.

That's because TNA went out of their way to sign every WWE castoffs they could and proceeded to book them in the dumbest ways possible (except Christian and Angle).

WWE signs every hot indy talent for the last decade and effectively makes them a cog in the machine with booking (they even tried cooling down AJ).

AEW, which just had their first show 12 hours ago mind you, signs Shawn Spears and Jake Hager for mid card feuds and makes them actually look like something.

I really dont get what your asking for here. If the Elite went over everyone theyll get called marks for themselves. When they sign virtually unknown talent they're looked as irrelevant and doomed to fail. They sign some recognizable faces for midcard spots and they dumb for seeing value? What exactly ARE they supposed to be doing breh?

They have had like 6 months to plan this out. You only get 1 oppurtunity to impress with shyt like this. This is a nationally televised show in prime time. All of these months of specualtion and yoi end the biggest show of your life with the debut of Jack Swagger like its a big deal. Like he hasnt been in indies for months, and Lucha and all that shyt. Like who cares. He is probably the worst WORST world champ ever, cant cut promos with his lisp, and couldnt produce with mega pushes.

Would have been much better to end with Ambrose and Omega and a hot angle. Not debuting guys who are castoffs.

Swagger even when he was tailing off at the end of his run in WWE still got pops. And stop with he revisionist history on Luger. Outside 97 he was always mid at best, especially if Flair wasn't carrying him. People acting like he wasn't the Reigns of his time period. Swagger will be fine.
