All the oilers have to do is fire their coach get like a bruce boudreau , move a draft pick and skinner for a decent goalie. The team is good enough to get back on par but they gotta do it fast.

Leafs are so unlikeable and frustrating
Stupid, Soft, weak and porous defense. Lacking depth too. Young and promising Timothy Liljegren out for weeks because of a cheap shot by Marchand and our top 3 on defense :
a 40-years old past his prime giordano, a 33- years old Brodie and Morgan Rielly. The rest are just scrubs and unproven rookies
Unreliable and inconsistent goaltending
Lacking depth on offense: if matthews/marner/tavares/nylander don’t score, forget about any offensive production. And for a team that bad defensively(in the NHL, only the wild and the sharks have allowed more goals against than the leafs) it’s a serious problem because we need a deep and powerful offense providing consistent production every game (4 productive scoring lines) to make up for our defensive weakness. We can’t prevent goals effectively but we can score them easily because the best forwards on our leafs belong in the talented elite of the league.. So in order to win we must outscore our problems and mistakes. We are not a sound and smart team defensively and our goaltending is average at best so let’s win with offense. We will win by using our only strength.

And Toronto has probably one of the worst home record( wins/ losses) in the league.
Ok, I just checked the statistics, so far this year the Leafs are 3-4 at home but 3-1-2 on the road.They are still mediocre at home but not bottom tier but the truth is that they still play better away than at home.
Leafs lack of defense made that game a lot more difficult than it should be. The Canucks game tomorrow could get ugly fast.
