Oh wow. Another PTFO story that went nowhere. Shocking I tell you.
To be fair, when they covered the story they pretty much said there wasn’t anything there when it came to his on court play.

The gambling part of the story had more to do with the random mysterious Twitter user who called him out than Beasley

These are the teams who got money left

He could actually benefit in the end if he has another good year. Detroit was gonna offer him $42M for 3 years before the gambling probe. More teams have cap space next year. If Miami signs him they’re definitely probably trading Herro eventually.

On the contrary actually as teams are starting to reign in their spending on role players. That type of deal he got will probably be the same one he’d get next year as well.

What sucks for him is that everyone now knows that he’s having financial issues and might try and shortchange him because they know he’s desperate.

All those bill collectors and lawsuits are going to be on him and his agent to get income coming in as soon as possible.

He will get shortchanged this year, but next year every one will have cap space. But, the Free Agency class in 2026 is overrated because the stars will resign with their own teams. There will be a team like Utah or Washington with a ton of Cap Space and no one to sign who will give Beasley a Huge Deal if he has another year with 40% 3 Point Shooting.

Everyone isn't going to have cap space like that. The teams will more than likely take on other teams bad contracts in exchange for picks as they aren't even close to being ready to compete now.

This new CBA is tightening the market for a lot of these guys services and we're already seeing it now. Those overpays and huge paydays are about to be long gone for a lot of these dudes.

It’s happening…

Interesting. Can they give him the most money?

I recall someone posting a list of teams who would have cap. GS was one of them but can’t really do anything with Kuminga lingering. I’d wait it out if I was him. Obviously that’s if the money is right

Edit: gambling & bad with money. Cali prob ain’t the right fit:patrice:
