I dont understand the obsession with them. It seems really weird. They seem to be very low key people, but everytime someone sticks a microphone in their face they are asking about very specific aspects of Russ being a stepfather when theres a billion nikkas across the planet doing the same thing every day.

I have to guess its his success/status and willingness to step up and father stepchildren thats making this very common scenario something that people are cooing over.

When the story first dropped, it fell more like ragebait for people who thought Russ was "soft" for wanting to be a step-dad and hoped the relationship would fall apart down the line.

There’s nothing wrong with being a stepfather or wifing a woman who had kids previously as long as she loves and respects you. Ciara always champions Russ, speaks highly of him, never attempts to publicly humiliate or emasculate him and comes off genuinely grateful for the life they’ve built together so no issues there


But its just seems like the last 2-3 years the media really harps on the stepfather thing when it comes to those two like thats supposed to be the defining aspect of their relationship. Its weird as fukk.
