Are there any screenshots in the wild? Neogaf is down "for maintenance."

I question if the site will survive this. It might be another SOHH to Coli type migration where the users leave and kill the forum off. The average poster on that site is pretty high and mighty to the point where they can't just shrug something like this off.

I found this searching neogaf on twitter. Dude was writing some kind of euro trip playboy chronicle and the members caught him after he talked about grabbing on a girl. Then he starts banning them left and right

I loved the obscure Japanese threads and especially loved the pickup thread. Used to inspire me to make some purchases.

It was over modded yes, but I never got that deep into the posting. Like I said in the other thread I was on there for over 10 years and it’s sad to see the site go. Made a few connections in the real life too

Not too sure I’d there is another single place for in depth knowledge on such random subjects

I found out about most terror attacks and other major news from them

To me this is a huge negative to my life

I was even using the Learning Japanese and Camera equipment threads as bible for the last few months.

For real this is bullshyt. I hope dude just falls back and brings the site back up. The members didn’t deserve this for his actions.

The owner by en a bytch for a while. Dude acts like he is beyond reproach even when he is clearly in the wrong. Simple disagreeing with him is grounds for being banned.

Okay so I found a summary on IGN. Apparently the owner took this chick on a trip to N.O. and got her drunk to the point where she went to the bathroom puking. She then tried to take a shower to feel better and this dude makes his way in butt ass naked about to rape her. Luckily she was sober enough to realize what was happening so she kicked him out. He knew she had a boyfriend too. After the failed rape he treated her like shyt the rest of the trip and she didn't know what to do.

It's over. That community is permanently fragmented. I don't know how long you've been around here but if you go back to SOHH you'd know that many popular posters never migrated to here. Over time this place grew into it's own but it's not SOHH 2.0. When a community is destroyed that's it.

Maybe somebody makes another forum and a good sized chunk migrates but it'll never be what it once was.

I tried to make it work on their new site but I gotta fall back. Every time I open my mouth with an opinion and a mod doesn't like what I say I get warned. If I keep posting there I'll probably just get banned. My last warning I won't even click the I understand button so they won't let me post anymore. Mod didn't really even say I violated a forum rule it was basically some shyt they didn't like my tone and what I said so I got warned.
