I think it's good for black women to feel appreciated because they are the most abused and defenseless of all women.But let's not forget that black men voted 93% for Jones which is also extremely high.
What I'm shocked about is how the media was constantly shyttin on black people for not voting but they are completely ignoring how the majority of both educated and non-educated whites voted for racists, pedos, and serial molesters.
I can't say I expected any different from inbred neanderthals.

I'm really hoping that Jones doesn't take the black vote for granted.

Trump was out there speaking mad shyt about Black people, calling for the Central Park 5 to be executed, caping for Joe "torturing inmates is fun" Arpaio on the regular, blowing all sorts of "law and order" dog whistles and straight up saying that police should be allowed to brutalize subjects, and was heavily backed by Jeff Sessions who is the WORST attorney general you can imagine when it comes to mandatory minimums, not to mention that he straight up tried to imprison people who were helping elderly Black folks get their vote in.

Sessions already back pursuing the HARSHEST charge and sentence that prosecutors can get in all drug cases. He's practically the only guy out there still caping for mandatory minimums across the board. And he straight from Alabama, so of course people there know about him. You talkin bout something Clinton was involved in 20+ years ago and ignore that Trump's man doing even worse right now.

Jeff Sessions: mandatory minimum sentences protected us from violent crime. Research: nope.

I wasn't on the ground in Alabama, but traditionally Black women are leaders in grassroots GOTV operations, and it looks like they put in that work for Doug Jones.

Before you think I am being contrary, let me be clear. I agree with your point to an extent.

My concerns before we declare black men are being shytted on though -

1. Are black women denigrating black men? Or just praising black women?
2. If the media is denigrating black men, are black women joining in?

If black women are praising their own but not getting caught up in the media bullshyt, that's alright with me. Black men need to be confident in who they are, see the media narratives and step past them, keeping their eyes focused on their goals. What does it accomplish by arguing the "black people instead of black women" point? Very little, and we just become involved in petty arguments. Yes, black men sound petty with this argument, even if there is a measure of truth in it. We should instead, be supporting our black women.

If black women are caught up in the media narrative and try tearing down black men, they should be checked.

It's pretty simple. Black woman are also WOMEN. Black Men are still MEN. Roy Moore is a man. Everybody doesn't have the same thoughts and beliefs when it comes to this topic, black or not. So I'd bargain to say that the reason 3% of black women voted for him is pretty similar to that of the 9% of black men that did the same.
