its that but remember folks move out of NYC when they get educated/start families. as people get more affluent, they will leave for the suburbs or to where the get more bang for the buck. Jamaicans are doing the same
a lot of my cousins from NYC can't wait to graduate and leave for a myriad of reason

Nah, Jamaican still majority and got major enclaves in the city. Haitian or Guyanese probably second. Idk if Haitians count as West Indians though. If you counting Carribbeans as a whole PR, DR, Jamaica top 3.
