I would have kept my s7 edge if I new the edge was going to stay the same. But the difference of edge between the 8 and the 7 edge is very much different.

If they manage to get the fingerprint scanner on the front of the phone coupled with the S-Pen the Note8 will be the GOAT phone. As it stands now I'd still prefer the Note7 over the S8 because the scanner is on the front and I liked the physical home button.

When it comes down to it, these aren't bad phones. They aren't great ones, either. I don't think that I can recommend the Moto Z or Moto Z Force in their current state, especially when
you consider the pricing. You're looking at $624 for the Moto Z and $720 for the Moto Z Force. That's Galaxy S7 money, and that phone doesn't practically beg for a raft of expensive "modular" accessories.

The standard S8 is a larger screen size than the Note7. When does it stop? I want my phone to be a phone. A small portable device. fukk I look like carrying around a 6.2 inch screen phone? Every year these plus models get larger and larger. The Nexus 7 a real tablet was 7 inches. They're running out of space between the largest phones and 7 inch screens. I have tablets already. I don't want my phone as another one.

I can put the bottom of the s8 plus at the bottom of my palm. My hand is still taller. If this size isn't good for u, don't waste your money. Definitely the right size for me.

So the Note7 was too small? I don't remember people complaining about it's size last year. I don't need my phone to be tablet sized. I have a Surface and an iPad. 5.7-5.8 is fine. Unless the Note forces me to take more I prefer things stay at this size. I don't have trouble seeing things on a normal S8.

Pay 720 for a screen but shyt on a phone that's got more uses than your dusty Samsung.

The screen is bigger but the actual device isn't... Lol why would extra screen space prevent you from carrying it around...The s8+ is smaller than a iPhone 7plus

I had a plus model iPhone for one day. It was so large it couldn't fit in the slots on my gyms equipment or the slot in my car designed to hold cell phones. I took it back and got the normal iPhone.

The extra screen real estate on the 6.2 device didn't do anything for me other than make the device even longer. That's the more popular device but I prefer the regular S8 after using both. I can still use the regular one with a single hand if needed.
