With Gamepass being better than ever, there's more and more reasons to join that than to invest in a new console. Sales are down across the board but Gamepass is thriving. I'm going to assume business is good. Did you know Gamepass got a new TMNT GAME today? My son is gonna flip when he gets out of school. Doom drops in 6 days but I have to play the previous games first, backlogs

Outside gamepass what is really the reason to have an Xbox over a Playstation? I guess the only thing I can think of it is friends that you play online, but we're even having flagship Xbox series on PlayStation now. It only makes sense these numbers are what they are.

Could replace PC for PlayStation for what I wrote above. Sony does have a ton of timed exclusives and the majority of them only end up on PC.

Personally even if i wanted to deal with the latter, i‘m not waiting one extra day for most of the big games i want to play, Yotei, DS2, GTA6, Saros, Wolverine, etc. etc.

and now we get all Xbox’s games and all the bethesda games that were going to be multiplatform anyway. No reason to ever move off from playstation for me. The software proposition has only gotten better for me as the generation went on

A PS5 & Switch 2 is honestly all you really need for gaming for the next 5 years at minimum. Could be more depending on how games utilize the base PS5.

The Xbox isn't the most powerful console, the ps5pro is but it's considered over priced AF. You paying $700 to play Xbox games? And I should be upset that you paid $80 to have what? What did you pay $700 then $80 more to achieve?

How many Years of Gamepass would you get for that price? The first two doom games I can play with Gamepass but they always on sale for like $20 for both if that. I keep repeating we can buy at a fraction of the cost later. And I won't need a remaster because they upgrade games for free on Xbox. As in the next Xbox will run it better than the ps5pro does, free of charge. This ain't Sony, charging $10 for the ps5 version of a ps4 game (horizon)
