Bad promo using gimmicks and shyt talking that made him look corny, too long an album and he didn't strike when the Iron was hot after announcing it.

All in all this was bad planning.

Its really unusual how he stopped all the promo right before the week the album came out. Even the Big Sean video isnt out yet.

It is what it is tho. Its either this or Future album for AOTY for me.

I've moved past this album already. Couldnt get past the super fake drill song early on. The music just annoys me and it's all over the place. Trash compared to really any Game album.

Nah that Burning Checks track is flames. It's obviously a conceptualized drill song, Game ain't out here pulling hits (he never was). He rapped his ass off on it...

I ain't made it thru this long ass album yet, but so far it sounds typical Game, high level lyricism (this is probably his highest ever and that's saying something for a guy who has displayed elite rapping abilities for years) with too many filler
tracks...

I'm a Game fan, always have been, and I think he's one of the 40 greatest rappers ever. But I disagree vehemently with those claiming he has one of the GOAT discogs---->he doesn't. Almost all his albums are average, or slightly above or below that, because he overdoes something unnecessarily on each album. Way too much filler is his MO, whoever helps him pick the tracks for his album must be trash, because if the ones that make his albums are the best of the recording sessions, that tells you how trash the rest were...

Example, the Doc 2 and Doc 2.5 were waaaayyyy too heavy on the gangbanging and fukking bytches themes. Way too heavy, and too long. Game would historically be viewed differently if his albums just shaved some of the dead weight off. He had some high ass "highs" on those two, he didn't have to overplay those themes and this is why he doesn't really have any classics aside from The Documentary....

I do agree that he doesn't have many garbage albums though. Just way too much average material from a guy who, from a rapping skillset purview, is an ELITE, elite spitter. So much unrealized potential...

Game could rap his ass off, but this thing is too long. Cut half and it'll be much better.

He should also ghostwrite for Marshall. He did a better Eminem than Em has been doing.
He should’ve split it in half and released it like 6-8 months apart if he was gonna have an album with thirty tracks. But Documentary 2 and Born 2 Rap were so good while still having a ton of tracks that I figured this sonic would hit like those did.

Right, he went damn near silent smh.

He spoke all that shyt then the week before the album when he should have been talking the most he went silent. He maybe figured the Eminem shyt would be impactful enough to sell the album or maybe all the bad press got to him.
