was there ever an explanation on why OPP was removed? the OG 12 packs would have caused controversy even tho it might have pushed numbers off 'free publicity and public outcry' but Violence was a sleeper release that is now doing numbers at 440k views with both the datpiff and the main channel upload (
www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3DvKFciyCs www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4N8cgwEQ_I) Hit has a pretty good ear for making beats and I wonder what the vaulted songs of the original hit-boy game collaboration album sounds like without the remake of already hashed-out samples
the album was available in new zealand a day early and random channels started uploading the songs with lyrics on-screen early (why doesn't game do that on his main channel?), so the youtube numbers aren't great given all the reuploads (
www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNi9pZnZTE4 with the eminem diss getting 1M views on another channel)....youtube has been lax about blocking people from reuploading songs and full (fake) albums and playlists to get subscriber count up as long as those views are consolidated to album streaming numbers (yet youtube pays the least amount per streamed song on their platform compared to apple and spotify, but spotify sometimes condenses the song to the point the quality is ass and unlistenable on their platform given how many bots use up their bandwidth during peak hours farming for inflated streaming numbers)
Game should put Violence in the track listing now that 2 songs got chopped from the album...like, where's the website for physical pre-orders and merch like how Nas passively does that on his website for album rollouts with email notifications?
fukking Wack is out here doing his separate side hustle venture promoting his fake '2mil lines of code' social networking app and disregarding Game as an artist by soloing interviews himself and running his mouth while speaking ill of the dead...this apathy in the album rollout is flagrant, like where's the music video and why is the first music video roll out for the album (outside of Easy) with big sean's corny ass? that 'single' is not a good representation of the album as a collective at all because most of the general audience's impression of Game is him with the slim shady impersonation/diss and the other one being the Kanye diss to Pete Davidson, and any other record would have been better....Game needs to get Gucci Mane's manager or somebody different who can take his hustle as an artist seriously. at least when Game was on interscope, he made music videos out of random songs that didn't make theme of Jesus Piece like 'I Remember' with Future and Jeezy and had the record label pay for their strip club excursion, lmao
i really hate how game 'borrows' the fleeting fame of random ass rappers for features that ruins songs (outside of up and coming slept-on talent of gen z rappers doing catchy hooks) and the only reason big sean got famous with those corny bars is because he was closely affiliated to kanye and suburbanites ate it up along with good music's promotional cross-features, and people suddenly had the urge to support everything detroit related because of eminem's cosign, but danny brown needs to drop more albums to represent detroit better.
game's core audience just want bars and him soloing songs or getting features who can hold their own that can black out on songs (did we ever get a Game-AZ or Game-Kool G Rap collaboration? Game could have gotten Ransom or 38 spesh on his album and the concepts would have been more fire while promoting pseudo-underground rappers that care more about crafting the bars) without rick ross' lazy random ass lines about butt fukking his enemies as a 'metaphor'

biggie said lines like these back in the days but it's still

as hell
as stated by someone talking about Game's "Ricky" song, Game does better conceptualized original work when he's sampling random hood movies towards storytelling and deriving the energy and topics from cult classics into song topics so that he would stop the incessant namedropping on his verses whenever he reach for them as a crutch to finish his lines ("anything is possible, drake got cornrows" is not how you finish a fukking verse and comes off wack, corny, reachy, and attention-needy as hell)...Game needs to binge watch/revisit a bunch of slept on movies and TV shows (like The Wire, etc and scrub the movie sample if it doesn't get cleared but at least we'll have the rest of the song), and make songs out of them sampling specific scenes and go solo on projects so that he doesn't half-ass the legacy and representation of those movies or another person's namesake (like sampling Eazy's or 2Pac's voice on this album) or slogan identity when he went hard going back and forth with 2 Chainz on 'Ali Bomaye' for the last verses back when it was en vogue to name your songs after famous people and going hard on those songs (like the original 'El Chapo' sampled Frank Sinatra's voice and Game went hard as hell on that song when someone else's reputation is on the line), otherwise, he just does the cliche album template of having generic female friendly songs and random posse cuts or features that barely have any synergy or is on-topic with each other and the project feels like an extended mixtape playlist with different styles than a cohesive album
also, where's game's interview-run after the album dropped? he could have followed up on why he dissed eminem and had an extended commentary on certain tracks that fans have questions about but podcasts are probably afraid to call him for an interview given that stans would downvote their video to hell and wouldn't sit well with youtube's algorithm, but Game should just go live on IG and interact with his core fans directly without some clout chasing talking-head conduit
