Given that Game 'retired' and came back, he was probably fulfilling bucket list material on this album trying different styles (like sounding like Dedication 6 mixtape wayne on 'fortunate' and doing his camron impression on 'killas'), redoing mobb deep and jay-z samples now that those feuds died down, and dissing eminem. the dr dre superbowl performance started out with a map of compton for the carpeting with compton landmarks with dr dre, snoop, and kendrick representing LA. everybody else was invited by proxy to dr dre where eminem only agreed to perform after inviting 50. eminem and dr dre couldn't go out their way to collaborate with people but only after it was greenlit by 50. Game could have been less emotional on interviews and more direct when he said eminem and dr dre shouldn't report to 50 for what they can and can't do given that they were the ones who signed 50 and gave him these opportunities, but the whole g-unit 'exclusivity experiment' with dr dre, eminem, and then mobb deep was mostly them collaborating in-house with each other and starting beefs with other artists that align with murder inc so that ja rule couldn't get features to revitalize his career on albums. 50 is an industry bully who took away artists' permission to collaborate on songs out of spite (just look at young buck) because of industry politics as a reflection on past grudges for how the industry blackballed him after he got shot and was dropped from columbia, but diddy stops people from realizing their potential as well and is a widespread practice, just look at mase and previously the lox before they were freed from their contracts to release more music on another label
Dr Dre gave beats to Game to put on mixtapes but none of them appeared on Game's albums outside of the bonus song 'dead people' on jesus piece that sounds like a throwaway beat. Otherwise, Game was allowed to get on Dr Dre beats only on other people's albums like Compton and Hip Hop is Dead. Fat Joe and 50 stopped beefing after the death of chris lighty and eminem went hard as hell on fat joe's 'lord knows' giving him 11m views. After executive producing 2Pac's loyal to the game and getting those connections, eminem only had a small window to collaborate on lean back remix with fat joe and welcome to d block with jadakiss before piggy bank dropped. Given that Game already dissed g-unit 100 times and is bipolar as hell wanting a g-unit reunion, he still probably want a shot at eminem and it's probably the leftover thing he hasn't done. 50 is still entertaining interview questions talking about how desperate game is and that game is most likely not going to work with eminem anytime soon so dissing him was the only leftover option to do. Eminem probably has his hands tied and probably has to consult 50 on what to do -- 50 ignored Game's disses all these years outside of one diss track mocking him so eminem would probably not respond because it's ultimately not his intention but that of 50's to not collaborate. Game has already collaborated with the majority of the industry on songs and didn't want 'the ja rule isolation treatment' so game always artificially stacks his features even when some of the collaborations turn out wack or the talent level drops off to collect future collaboration potential with other artists. Females constitute a lot of the streaming and album purchases, so game shouted out a bunch of female rappers on 'killas' in hopes of collaborating with them to turn around his image after his sexual assault case
even tho nas appeared on game's album in 2015 for documentary 2, that song was from the 2008 studio sessions back when will.i.am was still doing music. nas was touring in europe when game was doing his album but nas and game technically hasn't collaborated since like 2006 back when will.i.am was on HHID www.reddit.com/r/nas/comments/m85v7s/the_game_and_nas_collaborations/ not sure what is keeping them from doing music together but people just assumed nas and game was going to do a song together because hit was producing for both of them

Tracks 1-12 (13 with OPP), you basically got a dope album
Tracks 13-22 mostly feel like a mixtape plus the pointless Drake skit
Black Slim Shady is a gimmick track, a stunt that didn't work
Last 6 tracks are good
Think he'd have been best off dropping an album that's 1-12 (13 including OPP), minus Change The Game which also feel like a mixtape joint, plus the last 6. Plus Violence. That's a strong 18-19 track album
Then he could've tacked the rest onto the end as a Deluxe in a few months. Should have left Black Slim Shady in the vault
