Album was very bloated and hit or miss. A 5.5 out of 10 if I'm being generous.
Too many of the songs were either filler/forgettable or songs that were mediocre covers of better songs(Change The Game, Chrome Drugs And Harmony, Money Cash Clothes, etc.). And the features were generally low effort too save for some like Ross, Breezy, and 2Chainz. Fivio sounded terrible on Burnin Checks. Wayne put zero effort in Chrome. Kanye was going through the motions with Fortunate. And Camron's flow was atrocious on KILLAS.
And the production sounded very cookie cutter and demo-like in many tracks. The Nipsey song comes to mind. The beat sounded so discombobulated and unfinished that it fumbled the "This Can't Be Life" vibe that it was going for. And the few Drill beats on it sounded generic af. "Eazy" is one of the best beats on the album simply because it deviated from the formula. Mike Dean should've had more input.
The album would've worked out better as a mixtape than an album. There's gems on here but, for a 31 track album, not enough to redeem it. That's not even touching on the "Black Slim Shady" track which is okay lyrically but a very missed opportunity as a diss track.
