When an artist clearly doesn't have a credible plan or outlook for his venture the label or production deal in most cases serves as a loan and collection which accepts a budget from the big label and in turn makes it's own artists DEBTORS while the "label head" eats .....

Terror Squad is another example of that....Cuban, Remy and Tony Sunshine all had budgets opened for them , yet nothing productive was ever done.....

i'm witnessing that happening right now with an ole college friend who told me just last night "sheeeeeeit....i got a major ready to open up thier pockets for me now..so i can get my STABLE (label) popping....and get me some HOES (rappers)"

Stat quo low key had an amazing mixtape run when he got off aftermath. Released two albums as well, his work ethic was crazy.

Then he started talking about releasing the music recorded on aftermath. Next thing you know he's signed to aftermath again and not a word from him since.

Game is terrible when it comes to trying to run a label in all his years in the game he never put out an official blackwallstreet album and it could have been great he had dudes like ya boy, clyde carson, eastwood, technique, juice, jay rock & kendrick lamar all down or affiliate with BWS at one point.

she had like 2 albums out, of course not all albums get that big push or you hear everything all the time on the radio but that song was big, she was the only one in ts that was out there for abit

True story - The label screwed her over after she went on radio threatnening them. She said she had the social security numbers and knew the locations of the schools where the label heads kids attended. If anyone has a link to that interview please post it! Her album at that time with that song should have been number one in the country.

I think dudes a terrible businessman too, but dont forget he had 50 pullin his shyt behind the scenes tryin to get him blackballed. Dude was lucky to get on Geffen and have Doctors Advocate and LAX released at all.

Bang em smurf had 50 tryna blackball him too but even he was able to get a nationally distributed album from Domination in stores. The fact that Game hasn't even been able to get 1 artist from BWS placed on a record store shelf is an amazing fukk up on his behalf. T.D.E came out of no where and got 2 albums out already and they are from his backyard.

the problem BWS was never Chucks idea or concept it was Fase , Phat Rat n G Ride who drove that movement and new the biz , they told chuck he needed a website n online presence they was the 1s pushin all those early tapes in the streets gettin his buzz up in LA .. game just thought henchman was the 1 who knew everythin coz he introduced him to sum killaz in NY n got that whole dipset cedar block thing poppin
