Bron and Dirk arent your average NBA players. THe question should be if the average NBA player is willing to take that paycut. Or even if the lowest paid player (the dude making the NBA minimum $407K). Is he willing to take a paycut.

To put it in perspective, It's easy for Warren Buffett and Bill Gates to say he wants to give up more money by paying more taxes because he;s way at the top. He wont starve. Players wanting less regular season games doesn't mean they love the game any less than Jordan did. Like Dirk said it doesn't take 82 games to tell which teams are gonna be contenders and who will be lottery teams.
