:smh: at y'all fakits knocking Jordan for losing a passion for the game when his pops died.
y'all aint shyt:scust:

Yeah man, these nikkas aint shyt. For the fakkit talking about why did MJ play baseball then? Baseball was MJ's original sport that he liked to play, he only started playing basketball when he was a sophomore in high school. Besides why the fukk did he need to continue playing ball, he had like a 3 peat, scoring titles, MVPs etc. Plus Bulls management was just filled with a bunch of dikkheads.

ETA: During the first three peats, during the playoffs, MJ would even make time to play golf :mjdrinking:

What if they are though? Bron and Dirk have to know that they will take a pay cut. If the players are willing to do it it's probably going to happen soon.
No it wont. It's not just about a pay cut. They'd have to also reimburse the league and teams for advertising dollars lost. The NBA's bread is buttered based on TV contracts and advertising. It's a business FIRST. We'll see a 100 game season long before we see an 80 game season.

He went to play another sport.
Like people dont understand how difficult it is to drop one professional sport and try to pick up another.
Its not like he went to go cry in the car.

Im sure MJ's comments had nothing to do with the fact that he's an owner of a team who would lose money off the shortened games :mjpls:

bytch bron heading to :flabbynsick: status

trying to hoodwink us with "EVERY PLAYER WANTS/NEEDS less games/mins etc.

funny from the same player who lost the finals due to conditioning problems . COINCIDENCE :patrice: :beli:

Conditioning isn't the issue, he could play 50 minutes if he wanted to :mjlol: ....provided that the gym is air conditioned:mjlol:

I like Dirk's stance. It doesn't take 82 to sort out who's forreal & who isn't. Run a 70-game season & eliminate a decent portion of back-to-backs. Doesn't mean he likes the game any less :yeshrug:. Mike & Dirk both have points. I think Dirk would have no problem taking a pay cut, but like y'all were saying, it's the average player that'd make the process of shortening the season difficult

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11709451/michael-jordan-disagrees-talk-shortening-season-games

"If I wasn't playing 82 games, I still would've been playing somewhere else because that's the love for the game I had. As a player, I never thought 82 games was an issue.

"But if that's what they want to do, we as owners and players can evaluate it and talk about it. But we'd make less money as partners. Are they ready to give up money to play fewer games? That's the question because you can't make the same amount of money playing fewer games.''

that bolded part , sums up todays NBA gents...rose and kobe are the last of a dying breed.

These fakkits ain't had a hard day's work in their life

This generation man :smh:

The Millions of Dollars...The luxury chartered planes....The 5 star hotels and accommondations...The personal chefs...The personal trainers and doctors....ect...ect...you would think Lebron is laboring in the coal mines at the turn of the 20th Century....:shaq2:

These new stars just don't love the game, breh. I bet d leaguers, euro players and college kids dreaming of making the nba would love the opportunity to play ONE, let alone 82 games.

These stars are healthy enough and conditioned to play 82 games on stacked teams in a weak league and STILL complain:beli:

As much as player might love his sport lets be honest, elite teams that are guarenteed a playoff spot go through the motions towards the end of the season because their bored and want to start playing in the playoffs already. Wanting to shorten the season doesn't mean you don't like playing the game. It also can mean that you want to start playing games that matter sooner.
