Baseball was MJ's original sport that he liked to play, he only started playing basketball when he was a sophomore in high school. No it wont. It's not just about a pay cut. They'd have to also reimburse the league and teams for advertising dollars lost. The NBA's bread is buttered based on TV contracts and advertising. It's a business FIRST. We'll see a 100 game season long before we see an 80 game season.
