no question. if you disagree you honestly have no idea what you are talking about. he did a lot for race, was self deprecating before it was cool, swore (which was unheard of), and despite his recklessness, he was was responsible enough to stop saying the word nikka on stage.

he stood for something and was totally himself. whether or not they admit or realize it, every comedian is influenced by this man. i won't get into the vicarious stuff. there is no question about who the greatest comic of recent history is and anyone that disagrees is doing it solely for the purpose of debate. he may not be your favorite, but he is still the best to ever do it.

Was great at standup,goat black tv show,great movies....and not only that,Martin Lawrence physical comedy was a thing of genius you just cant teach...whether it was over the top or him doing little subtle shyt you don't catch til years later dude didn't get enough credit for it.
