If he felt he was being treated unfairly he could've just quit or pursued legal action.

Before cameras and the ability to sue anyone for anything. People were careful who the f’d over because of actual real world consequences. Now you f someone over and the person getting f’d can do nothing. People can only be pushed so far before a person natural dignity instinct kick in.

Its a good reason to push through your IRL encounters with strangeers using kindness at best, or indifference at worst. You never know how far a person is. In the words of a mediocre poet from the 90s, "dont push me cause im close to the edge"

There is no way to do $100 worth of “damage due to collision” on a forklift and a bulldozer. If there was actual damage, it would be more costly than that. Supervisor was just trying to fleece Pai Mei. His ass snapped on all of them. I wonder who got the “Thanks for the candy” pass
