Randy Orton is a pro and really good at what he does. It's not the most flashy or most entertaining but he's always playing his character and is really old-school with how he goes about his business. I thought the beat down last night was great and this is where Orton makes Reigns. We know he's gonna job to him at Summerslam but Randy really goes all out with what he does. Can't help but respect the man to go for the RKO twice to break that table when you can tell that first one hurt him.

He doesn't have classic matches but he'll always do what he has to do to get the person he's wrestling over and the point of the story. I don't want to see him as a champ anytime soon, but his role is perfect. He can feud with anyone and always walk the tweener line where he can wrestle anyone and play the opposite of them pretty good.

I'm not gonna go all in on Roman hate because the crowd did choose him, but to stay over for good the Universe, you're gonna have to put on great matches. That's why I never worry about the Rollins, Ambrose, Cesaro, Zigglers because no matter what their "pop" is, the crowd is always into their matches because theyre entertaining and unpredictable. Reigns is gonna have to use superman comebacks to win for a while because his moveset is so limited.
he gets no credit for this stuff here. Its insanity.

Randy Orton has been a top WWE guy for better than 10 years. He is at the point in his career where he should be the kind of 'ring general' who can make a match with a newer guy look like smooth sailing. He cannot, though. And that is his fault.
thats not the classic heel's job. The classic heel's job is to beat up the good guy, and make the crowd HATE him for to rally around the good guy, and make them look good. He could do cross body's off the top rope, or other stupid stuff but why? To impress the crowd? not his job.

Outside of the superplex, he is slow and methodical as a bad guy because thats what bad guys do. They deliver pain and make the good guy work for it. Its NO COINCIDENCE that outside of kofi [political, and that was his peak ever], every babyface who faced him as a heel came out looking stronger than before.

Is Reigns' in-ring work really that lacking?

No. Its just the bar and standard has been raised after 2 years of weekly matches featuring Bryan, Punk, Shield, Del Rio and Yes Orton and Cena, strictly being average is considered bad now. But if Early Batista, Early Cena and Early Ziggler (ALL of which were WORSE than Reigns is now). can improve, so can Reigns.

He'll be fine, he just has room for improvement, which is WHY they have him working against a guy like Orton in the first place. If he can't improve by working with Orton, THEN you should start worrying.

Nah...Blandy is a pretty lazy and standard worker. He's not known for carrying or putting on great matches weekly. That was old school Mysterio, Benoit, wgtt, Eddie, Angle...recently Bryan, 2011-2012 Punk, Rollins, Del Rio

I think Blandy was better when he was younger. Back in the Ruthless Aggression era when he was feuding with Evolution and Taker, but ever since then...Since he got older...He's been :trash: in ring.

When he was young his matches were so fun to watch. What happened!?

He showed up for the last few Bryan matches but he hasn't turned it on this year. Neither has Cena. The Cesaro mat he's were good but WE ALL knew they would be...Bryan had to carry Wyatt. It worked. Cena? Nope.
