I was able to finally watch it today, and :whew:...

It had more of a documentary feel than I expected, but fortunately that didn't take away form the action (or drama).

Rockefeller is too stoic for me, but I have nothing but admiration for his ambition and foresight. Vanderbilt was dope, but you cant have the throne forever- and I was surprised he let those two upstarts hustle him out of millions like that. Small thing to a boss, I guess.

I'm looking forward to Carnegie come for the title next episode.

Definitely an intense show. Say what you may about America's history, but there's lot of good information about success and business in general there. Basically you have to throw the finger to everyone else and go for yours.

Cool that they have the modern people commenting on the older guys too.

Loved it.

Rockereller and Carnegie made me want to brainstorm on every possible way that I can infitrate companies that I support regularly. Then, I came to my senses and realized the industries these men became gazillionair off of, didn't exist until they thought of a brilliant ideas to expand on them. Oh, and didn't hinder that they had rich mentors to guide them, and was at the right place at the right time.

It makes me think of Nas "My Country."

Why didn't my folks just die in this society
Why wasn't I a child of a doctor, who left stocks for me
