Nice man. I hope you have a good time over there. I really enjoyed it and I'm not religious at all. Lmk what your thoughts were. Im curious what non-Jews think about Israel when they actually get to see it first hand.

You staying in Tel Aviv the whole time or checking out some historic sites?
I'm here for a week for work. Got to get out to the beach today. It's pretty cool... I definitely see why they took it over LMAO. I give them credit too for being so secure in the midst of the madness. Tel Aviv feels like Rockaway Beach but only slightly more Jewish lol. I like it.

Not doing any historic sites.... don't have the time. Wifey is doing a bus tour of Jerusalem though. She's excited. Hopefully I can get back once every couple of years for work.... definitely a nice little getaway, and different from the typical beach spots.

Any of you traveled solo to a non-English speaking country?

I went to France and the Netherlands solo a few months back. Both spoke enough English in the parts that I went to that I didn't have any issues though.

I'm going to Cuba in May. Staying in Havana for four days, Trinidad for two, Varadero for two days and then back to Havana for my last day before I fly out.

I wanted to get down there before they start putting up McDonalds and Starbucks.

I don't know Spanish and will be solo for the second half of the trip, but I'm really looking forward to this trip.

Got my first big solo trip booked for late May. Excited as hell.

Berlin (Fri-Monday)
-Going basically for the nightlife. Staying in Kreuzberg. shyt is gonna be wild.
Barcelona (Monday-Monday)
-Going for Primavera Sound. Main festival dates are Thursday, Friday, Saturday. But they have club shows almost every other night. Also want to check out the beach and a couple of food spots.
Istanbul (Monday-Thursday)
-Always wanted to see this city, will check out most of the tourist spots. Will also check out a bunch of food spots
Budapest (Thusday-Sunday)
-Ruin bars, sparty, eastern European women
Vienna (Sunday-Monday)
-Flghts home were cheaper here and it was close enough to Budapest to take a cheap train. Will just probably spend the few hours I have exploring the city.

Was able to pay for a lot of the travel expenses (USA to Europe flights, flight to Istanbul, Istanbul hotel) with credit card points/churning. Rest of the time I'll be in either an Airbnb or a hostel (:scusthov: but I'm still young enough to get away with it)

Always wanted to do something like this solo.

So I got a good deal on a flight in and out of London the first week of March and ended up getting it. I have 8 nights over there. Anyone have recommendations? I was thinking 3-4 days in London and the rest in other cities. Either Edinburgh and/or Dublin but I'm open to other recommendations in the British Isles as well.
