Bernie was leading the primary until the Centrist Dems formed like Voltron so they do vote, but not enough to win. So calm down with the ALL CAPS, it hurt the point you were trying to make.

Was Bernie winning because he was the only “true” progressive in the race? If so it would make sense why he’d win when the rest of the party vote was split. If Bernie was the rightful nominee he would have gained more support after the other nominees dropped out

No I would characterize Warren and Gabbard as Progressive as well. I don't think he was the 'rightful nominee' either. He lost fair and square but it took an extraordinary circumstance to do it.
