This trade has me thinking theyre trying to make a BIG Free Agent or trade splash. NOW what if: theyre thinking of getting Deron AND Dwight? After they amnesty Rashard theyre going to have 48 mil in cap room. Rumors are going around Dwight would like to get traded on draft day, you give Orlando the number 1 pick and thats it and you got Dwight. Now you have a franchise player that can go recruit. But meanwhile you re-sign Gordon and give him 7-8 mil a year for maybe 4 years leaving you with about 17 mil to sign Deron. Then they still have about 3 mil in cap that they can use on a guy like Marcus Camby and there you have it. Oh shyt I forgot theyd still have the 10 pick. There you take your pick between Sullinger or Perry Jones. I'd take Perry Jones. And there you have it:

DWill
Gordon
Aminu
Jones
Dwight

and you got a vet like Camby to come in and show Jones the ropes. Just a little thought I had.

You can't amnesty a player you trade for.

Dwight wouldn't go to NO. Why would NO trade Davis for Dwight? That team is not even a top 3 team in the West.

If thats true that trade was the dumbest shyt ever. BUT that doesnt kill the scenario. Orlando would prob take Lewis' contract knowing that it ends after that season and theyre entering rebuild mode.

Why wouldn't they? Dwight wants to go and what team doesnt want young talent. With that your getting the presumed best young talent.

Not only did New Orleans manager to shed the hefty contracts of Trevor Ariza and Emeka Okafor (which adds up to close to $44 million over the next two seasons if you consider Ariza's player option in 2013-14), they also are only on the hook with newly acquired forward Rashard Lewis for $13.95 million if they buy him out before July 1.

If we did our math right, that means the Hornets could save roughly $30 million by making this deal, effectively starting over as they build around Anthony Davis, the clear-cut top choice in next week's draft.

Cutting Lewis will free up the Hornets to bring back Eric Gordon, and could also potentially make them a bigger player for the biggest free agent of the summer, Deron Williams. Can you imagine a Williams, Gordon, Davis nucleus that seemingly came out of nowhere? Yes, it remains a longshot, but crazier things have happened.

Remember, too, that New Orleans managed to hang on to the No. 10 pick and could go in a variety of directions with that pick, from point guard to swingman to center.

My Pops Forever RIP
you back load the contract. 8 this year, 9 next year, and so on.

they offered more than that to him and he turned it down. NO's gonna have to offer a max or match one.

Also, why would Rashard Lewis' expiring be attractive when Dwight Howard's contract ends at the same time?

Lastly, NO's not even entertaining calls for Anthony Davis. He's not going anywhere.

hmmm....or maybe the Lakers are planning on trading Pau & Bynum for Unibrow? :scheme: That seems like a great trade for both teams. And why gives us some filler and we are straight and fair trade for both teams. lol
