kendrick been rapping over all kinds of beats his whole career

the desperation getting real with these threads :lolbron:
Another breh playing dumb :russ:

Him using a trap beat isn't the controversy. It's how nikkas hate trap beats but suddenly love them when Kendrick raps over them. That's the hypocrisy I'm talking about.

As long as Trap music stay popular, thots will feel gassed up and have power.
Nah nikka this has nothing to do with trap. Trap is hip-hop even nikkas like Joey Badass and J. Cole have trap elements in they production now. In 1981 way before I was born the Fantastic Romantic MC's beat the Cold Crush Brothers in a live battle because of "hoes" and because they could move the crowd you know shyt hip hop has ALWAYS been about.

He hasn't had reference tracks come out or members of his sweat shop writing tent come out and say they were getting exploited, so he gets the benefit of the doubt that Drake doesn't :yeshrug:

Who said they were exploited by Drake?

And this thread has nothing to do with Drake

He literally put Drake in the tags my nikka...he's also the first person to say his name in the thread. This is a common, suppression fire type maneuver from Drake stans, one of which you have mastered yourself.

Drake is only mentioned because of the XXXtentacion controversy. I wasn't gonna mention him but I did it because I knew y'all eventually would anyway since this is the Coli.

This is about Kendrick fans and the hypocrisies and the stigma y'all have attached to him and certain styles of hip-hop.

Nope.

In fact you coulda saved all that extra shyt and just cropped the whole thread premise down to this:

We seen Drake get dragged through the mud for using the flow on his new album and called a culture vulture but when Kendrick does it we quiet as church mice? :mjpls:

This is what you were really wanting to say in the midst of all that rambling. Thing is...no Drake getting exposed and called out, you'd probably be in the "Humble" thread dikk riding it like everybody else. Instead you're here, in denial and trying making false equivalencies between what Kendrick does on this song and what Drake is getting "dragged through the mud" for.

Have some integrity my nikka, #Behumble

Hip Hop moved away from weak party singles to more lyrical displays because it didn't want to die out like Disco. Going to disco mode is a death sentence for rap.

What you quoted there is facts tho :mjpls:

But again not the point of thread. Y'all complain about trap beats and mumble rappers, shytted on the 2016 XXL freshmans mainly Uzi, Kodak, and 21. Who actually don't make horrible music. Y'all hold Kendrick to this standard of excellence and the anti-thesis of those guys, the lyrical savior of hip-hop but here he is rapping in Uzi's flow over a trap beat and y'all are praising him for it and reaching because it just isn't possible for Lord Kendrick to use the flow of the moment on his single he has to be making a "mockery" of these wack MC's who are so called killing hip-hop.

I would not be in the Humble thread dikkriding it because I hated it off first listen didn't even bump the whole song. I didn't realize he used the Uzi/XXX flow till today. Not every dikkriding the song a lot of people actually disliked it and the feminist and pro-black crowd on social media are getting at him.

Yes it was.

It's to the point that you bring up his name twice in the OP, once...because it's the only logical comparison to make right? And then again as a disclaimer that hey, even though I'm talking about Kendrick in relation to what people criticize Drake for...this ain't about Drake...hell it ain't even about Kendrick? '

:skip:

Then what is it about nikka?

:laff:

First you didn't happen to notice any mocking tones on what is basically a diss track...now you're saying that jumping into a lil uzi routine with "You do not amaze me, aye" is somehow him paying homage to these wack nikkas....ok.

OP is clearly NEW to Kendrick. Kendrick ALWAYS rapped like this you goofy. He always used trap sound and would rap ignorant. I.e

I actually prefer this Kendrick that doesn't take himself seriously.

Hands down the most horrible Rap song I ever heard in a while
