the sad shyt is that this was one of the records which leaked when that random dude was leakin Interscope songs & even after that some idiot convinced Dre to drop this as a single


I guess it went 2x or 3x platinum and would've been more acceptable as an Eminem single but really, a Dr. Dre single? For fukkin Detox?

And the funny thing about it is that Dre didnt even like the record either..I remember on the forum the dude was talking to Royce and he told him the song wasn't really popular in the studio. But the dude told Royce to tell Dre it was good and it was really popular in the forum and he should release and he promised him a good reaction from the public...

Now don't get me wrong..I liked the track..and I liked the video too..but I'm just one person..and even through the song did good on the charts it still didnt convince Dre to release Detox

Kush was good, but suffered from a Nate Doggy hook not sung by Nate Dogg, right after Nate Dogg died.

No wants to hear Akon on the lead single to Detox.

Snoop brought it, for what it was worth.

But it was trying to compete with The Next Episode...which has one the most epic opening chords, one of the most banging beats, really catchy lyrics, and Nate Dogg's classic SMOKE WEED EVERY DAY....trying to live up to that greatness is a lost cause.
