i'm confused what israel's obligation is to support a palestinian state next door, after october 7th, and where their assurance comes from that it wouldn't happen again. the war for the land is over; israel won. i know it sucks, but the childish denial of reality is embarrassing.

Part of the UN even agreeing to the creation of a Jewish state was contingent on there being a Palestinian state established next to it on the same land. So if anyone has an obligation, it’s the one state that got to reap the benefits of that agreement.
