i'm confused what israel's obligation is to support a palestinian state next door, after october 7th, and where their assurance comes from that it wouldn't happen again. the war for the land is over; israel won. i know it sucks, but the childish denial of reality is embarrassing.
palestine is run by men who are permanently dedicated to the eradication of israel. they aren't just gonna shelve that effort
That's exactly why October 7th happened. Israel has been stealing land little by little over the years. Soon there's going to be nothing left. What more did they have to loose? So if Israel wants assurances, they should give back the land they've carved up.
