I hope Alvarez gets motivated after seeing his countrymen win. He has the talent to be an AS maybe even HoF’er, he definitely should be on the 2030 Venny team, Alvarez just has to stay healthy to become that star.

Metropolitans FINALLY make it official and Benge is heading to Queens.
Benge luckily is coming into a situation with zero expectations and room to grow especially as long as he plays a good right field. He seems like a very high floor player.

He'll also learn a ton hanging around Soto and Lindor. That outfield of Soto/Robert/Benge is going to be fun to watch. Defense should be vastly improved with Robert and Benge able to cover some of Soto's defensive shortcomings.

Benge and McLean going to battle for rookie of the year. McLean has the headstart but benge has no pressure.
